Once again, the strange things I do for work….
A recent weekend found me dressed to the nines, sipping quality tequila and struggling to hear and be heard over the thump-thumping of the DJ while smiling, laughing and otherwise carrying on and watching the cute young go-go dancer gyrate away…
Nah, I wasn’t clubbing. Not really anyway…
What was I doing? Working.
Work that night involved the already mentioned club scene, and it also involved driving a Bentley up to Scottsdale….
Yeah, you can hate me now…

Niсе blоg! It’s a pity thаt thеrе’s not а lot оf cоmmеnts. Best rеgards, Cheap airline tickets
I can tell you suffered intensely.
Oh yeah, terribly!
Oh – and to Cheap Airline Tickets –
Glad you liked, but one of many reasons why there are so few comments is because I am damn selective… I also usually remove any and all spammy type comments… one of these days, I need to repost my rant on those SEO types…
The other reason there are so few comments is that I don’t really promote this blog, I don’t do social networking, or any other form of “getting the word out” – so the result is genuinely “organic.”
Maybe one of these days, I’ll get better at self promotion….
And finally, I have this unbelievable number of lurky-loos – those charming people who come and read and do not participate (you *know* who you are!)
Hah! I passed 15000 hits at Oldephartteintraining with only a few dozen comments. A lot of what happens at Opera comes over internal mail and doesn’t show on the blog. Even so, cross-communication at Opera – over 5500 hits now – and Care2 social communities hardly amount to a hill of beans. Blogging – you’ve probably noted me saying it before – is like shouting down a well wondering if you’ll get an echo ! Then again – Care2 is promising – and comments threads are a lot better than the usual drivel.
There is a lesson here learned on route sales. It is a lot easier to find friends if you look for them. But…a stable level of activity requires hosting a party. Good thing SEO isn’t high on our ‘need’ lists, I guess.
as the late Freddy Prinz would say…
Loooooooooooookin Gooooooooooooooooood!
